Irwin Mitchell solicitors have donated over £20,000 to Cavendish Cancer Care from their charity of the year fundrasing in 2009. This genreous donation will cover the costs of the vital work we do with women affected by breast cancer.
All Care and support given by Cavendish Cancer Care is given on a free of charge basis and we recieve very little funding from the NHS so are reliant on fundraising and donations to carry on our work. During 2009 30% of all women helped by Cavendish Cancer Care were affected by a diagnosis of breast cancer. These women accessed 838 individualised sessions of therapy, the cost to provide the various different therapists for these sessions was £19,693.00
